Javier’s Testimony

My name is Javier Sifuentes, 

I would like to testify on how miraculously and gloriously the Lord has changed my life. I can honestly admit that since making the decision to come to Freedom in Christ I’m no longer the same person I once was. Simply put I was blind but now I see. And I owe it all to the beautiful, wonderful grace and mercy of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 

You see it was not until I truly surrendered and stopped trying to live by my own understanding that I began to seek and really listen to God. And I came to find that God has been talking to be my entire life. I realize now that by the providence of God I’m able to witness about the miracles he has done and is doing in my life. 

As Psalm 139:16 says “You saw me before I was born. everyday of my Life was recorded in your book”

I am aware now that through out my life he has been commmunicating with me throuhg people, circumstances and or situations, with that I am convinced as Jeremiah 29:11 says ” For I know the plans I have for you they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you future and a hope.” 

Since being baptized and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit and genually relinguishing absolute and total control of my life, which includes taking my thoughts captive and immediately  removing any unGodly emotions , or feelings I may aquire. Only then have I experienced true peace and freedom. By dying to my old self and being born again. I dying to the worldly ways and the deires of my flesh . Which only lead to sin and bring chaos to my life. 

I now strive for righteousness way of living, a pure Christlike manner. I found that by being obedient to God and operating by the fruit of the Spirit : Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. I can live a more fullfilling life confidently knowing that my name has been written in the Lambs Book of Life. I’m bound to receive that heavenly prize that God through Christ Jesus has called me.
